About You :Qualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
A Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
High-level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write complex reports.
Position Summary :The?Graduate Engineer will provide high quality management support and technical expertise relating to civil engineering infrastructure projects, including but not limited to, roads, drainage, paths, and landscape improvements.
Key Requirements :Accountability & Extent of AuthorityAuthorised to make decisions within the boundaries of the incumbent's skills, experience, and areas of?responsibility.
Accountable for the accuracy and appropriateness of the decisions?made.
Authorised to make recommendations to?the Civil Engineers?in the functional areas of design engineering and general municipal engineering.
Freedom to act within this position is set by clear objectives and frequent and regular consultation with the?Civil Engineers.

Job Responsibility :Reports to: Civil EngineerSupervises/Manages: Nil.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist technical comment and design advisory input.
Identify, investigate, and report on engineering design issues.
Formulate project specifications to meet project requirements.
Manage projects or works of low-level complexity from inception to completion.
Support Civil Engineers in the delivery of high-level complexity projects from inception to completion.
Attend sites to inspect works and monitor progress.
Support the preparation of reports and correspondence.
Review and verify the receipt of goods and services, and process payment claims as required.
Assist in feasibility, planning, and budget preparation of the capital works program.
Provide a high quality of service to customers.
Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with all relevant legislation.
Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines relevant to the engineering team.
