Project and Training Officer - Accessibility and Equity
CQUniversity seeks a skilled professional to join our team as a Project and Training Officer, specialising in Accessibility and Equity. In this role, you will work closely with the Manager to implement key actions from the Disability-Informed Action Plan, lead initiatives, and report on progress.
This position is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance staff capabilities in Universal Design for Learning Guidelines, fostering a culture of inclusivity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Creating and facilitating quality training and professional development.
* Developing annual project plans and ensuring timely completion of actions.
* Consulting with the Disability Employee Network and Student Disability Inclusion Group.
* Contributing to evaluation strategies.
* Preparing detailed reports and promotional materials.
We are seeking a professional with a strong understanding of adult education, accessibility, and equity principles, and proficiency in corporate systems and learning management software.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of adult education and learning methods, and an understanding of accessibility and equity principles and practices.
* Demonstrated ability to develop professional training materials using contemporary design skills.
* A degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience and management expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
* Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements in a disability support context and/or an ability to quickly acquire knowledge.
* Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using Articulate 360 (desirable).
