Mental Health Clinician
Job Summary:
The Mental Health Service for People with Intellectual Disability (MHS-ID) is a specialist short-term assessment and consultation service that aims to improve clinical outcomes for people with intellectual disability and co-occurring mental illness.
This role involves providing expertise in consultation, liaison, support, education, and training to agencies, carers, and families. The team member will also be required to undertake professional development and supervision, participate in quality initiatives, and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes.
About the Role:
The Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) provide health services directly and through partnerships with community organisations. These services range from prevention and treatment to recovery, maintenance, and harm minimisation. Consumer and carer participation is encouraged in all aspects of service planning and delivery.
