About The Centre
Thrive are thrilled to have opened our centre in Warragul, our first in Victoria!
Thrive, Warragul is our brand new, purpose built centre with onsite parking. Operating Monday to Friday, 7am - 6pm, the centre caters for up to 116 children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
The team supports children's growth and development through child lead experience, providing nurturing and caring environments were children feel a sense of belonging.
The centre has five spacious rooms along with a beautiful outdoor play space that allows for imaginations to run wild.
About The Role
The team is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join the team.
We are looking for someone with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building both a team and a service from the ground up.
You will be joining a supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!
Your main responsibilities will be to:
* Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive Curriculum
* Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
* Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
* Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
* Maintain effective communication with parents
* Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best
Successful candidates will have:
* Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
* VIT Teacher Accreditation
* Sound, practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS).
