As the Team Leader, your role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for participants with disabilities.
You'll lead a team of support staff, ensuring personalized care and overseeing day-to-day operations to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
Through your guidance, residents will be empowered to live independently, fostering community belonging and promoting their overall health.Your responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, monitoring service performance, and participating in evaluations.
You'll coordinate daily operations, promote our services, support client decision-making, address concerns, and ensure policy adherence.Administrative tasks include record management, overseeing maintenance, conducting appraisals, handling reports, ensuring safety compliance, supervising staff, and representing the organisation professionally.In addition to 45.6 hours of administration per fortnight, this role is made up of the following set shifts:Week 1Friday: 6:30am - 9:30am (3 hours)Monday: 3pm - 10pm (7 hours) & sleepoverTuesday: 6:30am - 9:30am (3 hours)Week 2Thursday: 2:45pm - 8:45pm (6 hours)Monday: 2:45pm - 6:30pm (3.75 hours)Wednesday: 2:45pm - 6:30pm (3.75 hours)The Successful Candidate Will DemonstrateSound computer skills, including the ability to navigate various software, perform online training and record case notes on the client database.High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to self-reflect.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills verbal, non-verbal and written.Demonstrated experience supervising support staff in a Disability Services (or similar) environment.Proven capacity to contribute to building a team, focused on high quality service.Commitment to teamwork and accountability.Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or equivalent (desirable)Why work at Gateways?Salary packagingGreat career prospects with a reputable organisationEmployee Assistance ProgramFree flu vaccinationsTo be eligible for this role, you will need to present:NDIS Workers Screening Check ClearanceNDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)Working with Children Check (Victorian, Employee)Victorian Driver's LicenseCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateFor further information and/or to request a position description, please email Please include an updated resume and cover letter when submitting your application.
