Victoria Daly Regional Council runs a range of programs to engage the Indigenous communities.How you’ll make a differenceVictoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time CDP Administrative Support Officer based in Katherine, NT. This position is responsible for assisting the CDP Team with day-to-day operations for the Community Development Program (CDP).More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensure a professional, efficient, and courteous service across the organisation and external stakeholders.Assist the CDP Regional Manager and CDP Team with daily tasks.Provide administrative support and assistance with recruitment of employees, advertising of positions and compliance requirements.Ensure all employee commencement documents are managed and appropriately stored in SharePoint and deliver commencement inductions for new staff.Assist with processing CDP payroll fortnightly.Assist with collating credit card and fuel card statements.Assist with repairs & maintenance of CDP vehicles.Have the ability to work in ApprovalMAX in purchase orders. Booking staff accommodation/ordering supplies.Ensure all Council policies and procedures are adhered to, and all resources are effectively deployed.Additionally, you will join with the following skills and background:Experience and Knowledge RequirementsAdministrative and secretarial skills, including the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.Proven ability to participate as a team.Demonstrated organisational skills including an ability to work under pressure and complete tasks within timeframes, work independently and flexibly.Other RequirementsCriminal History Check (recent within 3 months)A current Drivers LicenceCurrent Working with Children's CheckAs the ideal candidate, possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a professional approach to problem-solving are key.
