The Royal Children's Hospital is a cornerstone member of the Melbourne Children's Campus.
We provide a full range of paediatrics and adolescent health services, as well as tertiary and quaternary care for critically ill and medically complex patients in Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW, and other states around Australia and overseas.
Our hospital has over 6,000 staff and cares for more than 300,000 patients annually, including 90,000 Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.
About the Role
This is a permanent position within the Emergency department, requiring comprehensive, safe, evidence-based paediatric Emergency nursing care.
You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate optimal health outcomes and provide family centred care.

Your Skills and Experience
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
* Minimum 2 years Emergency nursing experience
* Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously
* Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
About the Department
The Royal Children's Hospital Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing urgent medical care to babies, children and adolescents.
We see approximately 95,000 patients each year and are staffed by medical, nursing, clerical, allied health and administrative staff.
