The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures, with a specific focus on firewalls, proxies, AWS services, and NSX-T technology. This role will involve supporting our network data center operations and ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network traffic flow. Ensure that firewall policies align with security best practices and organizational requirements.Proxy Management: Administer F5 Load Balancer (LTM/GTM) proxies, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable and high-performance application delivery across the network.AWS - Route53: Work with AWS Route53 for managing DNS, domain name resolution, and routing traffic within AWS. Ensure high availability and reliability for cloud-based applications and services.NSX-T Management: Leverage VMware NSX-T technologies to design, implement, and support network virtualization and security solutions. Maintain network policies, segmentation, and automation using NSX-T tools.Data Center Network Design & Support: Work with internal teams to design and implement network infrastructure for data centers. Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and scaling of network systems to meet the demands of business growth.Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly, including performance degradation, security incidents, and configuration problems. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and processes. Provide regular updates and reports on network performance and incident resolution.Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, systems engineering, etc.) to ensure seamless network integration and performance. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Proven experience in network engineering and data center management.Expertise in managing Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.Hands-on experience with F5 LTM/GTM proxies for application delivery.Strong knowledge of AWS Route53 and DNS management.Familiarity with NSX-T and network virtualization concepts.Experience in network design, optimization, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for network infrastructure.Familiarity with cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Customer moving from word doc designs to Git, so desirable to have skillset in Git Actions/Python, though not mandatory.Apply Now!
