Senior Executive Support Officer
Provide high-level expert executive support and advice to senior management within Clinical Excellence Queensland.
Job Description
The Senior Executive Support Officer will provide high-level expert executive support and advice to the Chief Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Officer, Clinical Excellence Queensland, Department of Health, and Senior Management within Office of the Chief Psychiatrist (OCP), in the execution of their responsibilities by providing executive/secretarial advice and high-level assistance including making decisions in their absence and administrative support in the running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level confidential executive and administrative support services
* Manage the office of a senior executive in a demanding and fast-paced environment
* Liaise with senior executives in both public and private sectors
* Improve administrative systems and practices
* Use problem-solving skills to provide solutions to complex range of internal and external clients/stakeholders
* Identify and lead service improvement opportunities
Requirements
* Experience in providing high-level confidential executive and administrative support services
* Sound knowledge of the functions of a senior executive officer or senior executive group
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and use discretion in the absence of decision-makers
