The Role
A Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor appointment is available within the following areas. Appointment level will be commensurate with academic research and teaching experience and qualifications preferably at PhD or minimum Masters level. Appointees will demonstrate a high level of connectivity between the education of pre-service teachers, their own teaching experiences, engagement with schooling/early childhood and industry sectors, and demonstrated research capability.
Role Requirements
10. PhD in a relevant discipline OR
11. Substantial progress towards a PhD and professional equivalency which would require demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the relevant discipline curriculum, national learning frameworks and the quality agenda with a research profile evidenced by publications (and demonstrated ability to teach at University level) AND
12. An established or emerging track record in quality research and outputs in Education (Field of Research code 39)
13. Expertise, experience, and a strong pedagogical approach to education in the relevant discipline
14. Appointment at the Professor or Associate Professor level will require candidates to also have an extensive proven national and/or international record in research.
15. The successful applicant will also be required to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check, a National Police Check and preferably be eligible for Teacher Registration in Western Australia.

Benefits & Remuneration
These ongoing positions attract remuneration of $110,065 to $130,045 per annum (ALEVB); $134,035 to $154,013 per annum (ALEVC), $160,672 to $176,649 per annum (ALEVD) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
A relocation package from interstate may also be negotiated for high calibre candidates.
