Job Purpose: The Events and Weddings Executive supports the Event Sales Manager in overseeing confirmed events, ensuring smooth transitions to the Event Operations team, and delivering exceptional client experiences at State Buildings & COMO The Treasury. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main contact for weddings and special events, managing everything from enquiry to handover. Respond to enquiries within 24 hours, offering personalised service. Coordinate with Event Operations to ensure accurate execution of confirmed events. Organise final detail meetings for weddings, introducing couples to the Venue Manager. Manage event logistics, documentation, and administrative tasks. Monitor industry trends to stay competitive and assist with pricing adjustments. Organise wedding open days and participate in external expos for property exposure. Collaborate with vendors to ensure smooth event setup and breakdown. Maintain event management platforms (iVvy, SevenRooms) and update booking details. Prepare detailed Event Orders for Event Operations and Venue Managers. Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to finalise details. Build strong relationships with clients and gather feedback post-event. Maintain booking forecasts and assist with budget preparation and financial reconciliation. Guide new and existing team members to ensure event standards are met. Ensure thorough knowledge of hotel food and beverage offerings and service standards. Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned. Provide courteous and professional service to clients, fostering strong relationships with guests and team members.
