The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Group Allotments Manager to be based in Melbourne to manage our Group Allotments portfolio.
Reporting to the General Manager of Sales and Revenue, this role aims to maximize sales potential by fostering strong relationships with existing customers, increasing brand awareness, and identifying new prospects.
Key Responsibilities
As the Group Allotments Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborating with global sales teams, with a primary focus on Australia and New Zealand, to identify, book, and materialise Scheduled Groups opportunities.
2. Ensuring, in coordination with senior leadership, that our Group Allocation offering meets market and business needs.
3. Managing and updating Group Allocation marketing collateral to accurately represent our offerings and support sales efforts.
4. Conducting regular market intelligence to keep our Group Allocation competitive.
5. Responding to enquiries on Seat in Coach Group with timely and accurate quotes.
6. Providing high levels of service, communication, and quick turnaround on quotes to convert to sales.
7. Assisting Sales Managers in hosting webinars with agents to promote and sell Group Allocations.
8. Prospecting ‘Direct’ Group Allocation opportunities through clubs, retirement villages, Probus, and similar groups.
9. Preparing accurate invoices for accounting purposes and monitoring payments.
10. Ensuring follow-up actions and deadlines are met.
11. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with agents and suppliers.
12. Adhering to departmental guidelines related to customer service standards.
13. Completing all associated administrative tasks.
14. Recording all revenue-generating activities in Salesforce accurately and timely.
15. Reporting sales activities and issues weekly and monthly to the General Manager of Sales and Revenue.
16. Working towards and achieving set targets and KPIs.

18. Understanding of strategy and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
19. Adaptable communication and work style to meet changing stakeholder needs.
20. Commitment to continuous process improvement through feedback and analysis.
21. Strong administrative, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage intense workloads and shifting priorities.
22. A strong customer service ethic and attention to detail.
23. The ability to work effectively both in teams and independently, communicating at all organizational levels.
24. Experience in constructing, booking, and executing complex travel itineraries.
25. Previous experience in the Travel and Tourism industry.
