To perform technical and supervisory responsibilities related to the manufacturing plant activities by controlling, planning and executing as necessary and coordinating with Manufacturing Manager and other departments of the company, the requirements to avoid any production delays and/or optimize the manufacturing processes to comply with the manufacturing goals.Schedule available: Shift B Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 10:00pm and Saturdays 6:00am to 3:00pmNecessary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Report and Monitoring acts or unsafe conditions.Perform the duties following the guidelines of the Quality Management System.Behave according to the Company Ethical Charter.Provides leadership, mentoring, training and supervision for the manufacturing operators including the manufacturing leader.Approve Certificates of Conformity (CoC) that ensure that the product was produced according to the corresponding manufacturing procedures.Supervise, guide and motivate the operative personnel.Optimize the resources and manufacturing processes.Prepare and manage manufacturing department efforts to comply with the quality guidelines and manufacturing indicators.Management of manufacturing indicators.Manage the documentation related to manufacturing operations.Coordinates with engineering department to have the equipment in optimal conditions without affecting the manufacturing schedule.Support any manufacturing relates activities during RDI, PE, PDE, QA projects, among others.Ensure that their staff are trained and qualified in the processes that are participating.Maintain updated the training matrix or profile for the manufacturing operators and leader.Perform the Change orders required to manufacturing documents.Perform and document the investigations of process deviations or non-conforming material to provide a disposition according to quality guidelines.Analyze and verify compliance of process parameters. Document in process documents.Supports activities to assure that the final market product release is performed under product specifications.Representation of the department when needed.Perform any other activity that the Manufacturing Manager considers necessary.Sign certificates of conformity (CoC) that ensure the effectiveness of the manufacturing process.Relationships and Roles:Reports directly to Manufacturing Manager.Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.Supervision of Manufacturing operators and leader.Job Specifications:Bachelor's degree in applied science such as Production, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related area or equivalent experience.From One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in manufacturing positions in medical industry or 3 years in other industries.Knowledge of manufacturing processes.Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, CE Mark standards.Experience in controlled production environments.Intermediate to Advanced speaking and writing English skills.Computer knowledge is required: spread sheets, word processor, other utilities, basic knowledge of commercial software package (i.e. Windows or similar) and basic computer configuration.Proven leadership and ability to drive teams.Good communication skills both oral and written.Highly developed soft skills.Ability to handle confidential information.Multitasking abilities.Oriented to results.SAP or similar knowledge.Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
