Job Title: KESO Position
The purpose of this role is to work with education and family service providers, key stakeholders, and the Koorie community to improve outcomes for Koorie children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:

d constructive relationships with key stakeholders to improve engagement, wellbeing, and achievement for Koorie children and young people.
* Facilitate access to universal and targeted educational services for Koorie families and communities.
* Negotiate with stakeholders to improve access to culturally responsive educational services.
* Establish partnerships with government departments, community agencies, and local communities to promote collaborative programs and initiatives.
* Provide expert advice on culturally inclusive and appropriate strategies for improving engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.

1. Identifies relevant referral agencies and support services for educational success.
2. Engages with key stakeholders for common educational purposes.
3. Promotes community awareness of educational issues and services through various settings.
4. Uses diverse approaches to link services and stakeholders.
5. Has a comprehensive understanding of local Koorie history and cultural protocols.

This position is part of the Department of Education and Training's efforts to improve outcomes for Koorie children and young people. The successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.

Salary:
$83,551 - 108,037 per annum, depending on experience.
