Work with great people on our next-gen digital transformation Make a real impact on how we deliver care Initial 12-month fixed term contract at our Hawthorn East office, high potential to extend It's an exciting time in our industry. Aged Care Services must transform to meet future demand, changing regulations and government funding reforms. Home Care, Respite and Residential Aged Care services touch around 1.2 million Australians, and that number will drastically increase in the future with our ageing population. We will need to reduce non-care activities so we can scale and continue to provide quality, person-centred care. We are investing in an ambitious suite of smart transformational projects and seeking IT Project Managers to drive a range of non-complex to complex projects. Projects range from improving our existing systems, integrations, operational models, processes, and developing bespoke solutions to more typical IT projects such as migrating to Office 365 and implementing a new care system. Reporting to the CIO and closely supported by our PMO office and change management disciplines, you will enable business service and transformation. You will contribute to building the foundations of good project delivery and be part of a high-performing team of professionals, ultimately, influencing the technology used at Benetas and the wider aged care/health sector. Critical to your success will be your ability to build consultative relationships with the executive teams to keep project deliverables focused on realising business value. This may include challenging the status quo to direct the best strategic outcomes. Some of the ways you'll make a difference: Leverage and adapt your expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and associated disciplines to develop the best fit project cadence Build robust relationships with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business needs and are successfully embedded Work with ambiguity, and pivot your approach to move people towards a shared goal Support IT teams (BA's, developers, architects, subject matter experts) in managing and delivering IT Projects Look for ways to continually improve IT project delivery in collaboration with the PMO Effectively plan resources to deliver the forecasted pipeline of projects To help you achieve this, you will: Identify and tap into your experience to guide a range of non-complex to complex projects, adapting relevant methodology for best-fit project delivery Be curious and a capable observer to quickly understand the challenges and opportunities in the aged care sector Communicate benefits to stakeholders at all levels and tailor project delivery to meet the expectations of the business unit Have sound business acumen and organisational change literacy Bring depth of knowledge of project lifecycles, especially quantifying benefits and articulating value Have a proven track record in delivering a breadth of projects to add value to business operations Degree qualified with relevant certifications in project management Why work with us?
