Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight: Manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.
Budget Management: Monitor the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and comprehensive submissions, and monitor budget adherence.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and key insights to stakeholders, including external partners and lenders.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, monitor variance analysis, and provide insights on financial performance.
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations and identify and manage financial risks.
Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant designation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office.
