We have permanent part-time roles available, offering flexible working hours, with contracts ranging from a minimum of 15 -25 hours per week guaranteed. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you!You will be required to travel to the following suburbs: Baldivis, Cooloongup, Hillman, Safety Bay, Shoalwater, Stake Hill, Waikiki (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted) Key Responsibilities Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks, including showering, grooming, toileting, and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks, and social support in the community. Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home; therefore, having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.About you Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.Align to Silverchain Groups COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.Benefits $34.69 per hour + superTravel allowance of $0.99 per k/mProvided with a mobile phone for work purposes.17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options.4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.Paid parental leave provisions.Discounts from several retailers, health insurance & fitness providers etc. incl.
