Job Description:We are seeking highly motivated Building and Engineering Technicians to support our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing and interpreting drawings, performing field tests, inspecting construction sites, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of building systems. Frequent travel to remote Austaralia is required. Responsibilities: Assist engineers and architects in preparing and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications for building projects. Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Collaborate with construction teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and efficiency in project delivery. Assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. Perform calculations and analysis to support engineering design and decision-making processes. Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence. Assist in estimating project costs, quantities, and timelines, and track project expenses and progress. Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent in engineering technology, construction management, or a related field. Previous experience in building construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
