Your Role
As a French Language Teacher at Savie Academy, you will engage students from diverse backgrounds in immersive learning experiences. Your role is pivotal in fostering both language skills and cultural appreciation among students. This position involves conducting small group face-to-face classes in NSW, complemented by online teaching sessions.
Minimum Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Teaching certification in French language education is highly desirable.
* French Speakers: Native or near-native proficiency in French to provide authentic linguistic experiences to our learners.
* Experienced Educators: Minimum of 3 years of full-time certified language teaching experience.
* Quality Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality classes, ensuring student satisfaction and excellence in outcomes.
* Curriculum Familiarity: Knowledge of curricula such as HSC (Higher School Certificate), VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education), ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank), IB (International Baccalaureate), or AP (Advanced Placement) is considered a plus.
* Skills: Strong digital literacy with proficiency in using online teaching platforms and tools such as Microsoft 365 and Teams. Excellent communication skills in both French and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Attributes: A can-do attitude, passion for teaching and French culture, adaptability, innovation, and the ability to engage students in both virtual and in-person environments. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Work Authorization: Candidates must hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia.
