Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.All supported by the expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.This role will be housed within a brand-new ward on the 3rd floor of the hospital with lovely views and state of the art equipment. The team here work very closely together and have proven to be extremely welcoming to new starters.About the roleAs a Registered Nurse (Vascular/ Urology, 30 bed ward) your responsibilities will include:Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing careProvide complex and multi-disciplinary careWork collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recoveryAuthority to Work in AustraliaWorking with Children check (if relevant)Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA with a minimum 2 years experienceDemonstrated experience in a surgical environment advantageousCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedFlexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.Why Healthscope?We care about your career at Healthscope.
