Position Overview As an Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations, ensuring compliance, fostering team excellence, and driving the delivery of exceptional care across your designated area. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining our family-like culture and ensuring that our participants receive support that is as personal as it is extraordinary. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee daily operations across allocated sites to ensure services align with Carers Collective's mission and NDIS guidelines. Manage rostering, workforce capacity, and participant allocations in partnership with rostering and recruitment teams. Analyse and report on key metrics such as service delivery performance, participant satisfaction, and incident trends. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all NDIS Practice Standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Lead audits and prepare relevant documentation to maintain accreditation and compliance standards. Implement benchmarking and monitoring tools to evaluate and improve service quality. Participant-Centered Care Act as a point of escalation for participants and families, ensuring timely and effective resolution of concerns. Monitor participant outcomes to evaluate the success of support plans and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Community Engagement Officer to drive participant connection with local activities and services. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop support workers and team leaders, ensuring adherence to Carers Collective's values. Manage recruitment, retention, and performance of staff in line with the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework. Promote a positive work environment that values teamwork, respect, and continuous learning. Strategic Initiatives Identify and implement operational improvements that enhance service delivery and participant outcomes. Collaborate with the leadership team to align area goals with organizational objectives. Build relationships with community organisations to strengthen Carers Collective's local presence. Key Selection Criteria Essential Proven experience in a management role, preferably within the disability, aged care, or community services sectors. Strong knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and operational requirements. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Experience in compliance, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Desirable Relevant qualifications in business, health, community services, or a related field. Experience in rostering, workforce management, and operational compliance.
