A Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Regional Planner will assist with planning for Tasmania’s vast national park and reserve estate in Northern Tasmania.

* Advise on policies shaping reserve management.
* Build valuable professional relationships with stakeholders to continuously improve reserve management.
* Drive initiatives that ensure the longevity of our natural spaces.
* Guide environmental stewardship, preserving cultural and heritage values, as well as promoting sustainable practices.

Hours per Fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of Appointment
To March 2026 or until the return of the substantive, whichever is earliest.
Minimum Qualifications
* A graduate qualification relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken is highly desired, as provided by a university, in a discipline relevant to science, environmental planning, natural resource management or urban/rural planning.
