You will provide administrative support to the Creative Arts Team and allocate tasks to the Front of House team. This position is responsible for the GPAC Box Office. You will also assist visitors at the Visitor Information Centre which is located at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre.The successful applicants will be willing to work on a rotating roster including weekends and evenings.To be successful in this role you will have:Demonstrated commitment towards providing a high level of customer service within a reception and retail area, preferably within a creative arts environment.High level of experience in ensuring that all email and phone communications are at a professional level and distributed within the organisation, as relevant, in a timely and accurate manner.Demonstrated math skills for the accurate handling of money, issuing receipts, and balancing transactions combined with high attention to detail.Ability to manage own time, to meet set objectives and to follow relevant policies and procedures.Experience in the Windows suite of products and the capacity to learn to work with Council’s chosen ticketing, point-of-sale, and venue management software.A demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative manner as a part of a team.Willingness to work across creative arts venues via a rotating roster, including weekends.All successful applicants are required to undergo a Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.Go Further at Latrobe City CouncilA career with us begins with a desire to empower and make positive change within our Latrobe City Community.
