A critical and influential role within a growing Advanced Analytics team of a major finance institution, to provide trusted econometric analysis & actionable insights on customer behaviour!
The Company
Part of the Brand and Marketing portfolio within a major finance institution, the team is looking to transform the way they provide trusted analytical insights and recommendations on campaign and marketing spends across customer segments to enhance customer experience.
They have a brand new opportunity for a Manager to join their Advanced Analytics team to build and maintain market mix/econometric models to measure effectiveness and drive the marketing strategy for the business.
The Role
This is an exciting time for the business since they are building a new team within the Chief Brand and Marketing Office portfolio.
Reporting into a passionate Exec Manager, you will work within an Advanced Analytics & Insights team comprised of Analytics/Insight Specialists and Data Scientists and work with various stakeholders to help provide hypotheses around customers and their pain points.
Experience working on market mix/econometric modelling and skills across statistical/attribution modelling are a big plus for this role - you'll build and maintain econometric models to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns (online/offline channels) and provide trusted analysis, actionable insights, and advice on customer behaviours to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional portfolios like marketing, sales, product, and finance teams to enhance measurement and promote data-driven decision-making.
Conduct experiments, measurement and modeling to assess the commercial impact of owned, earned, and paid media.
Build and manage mixed-marketing models across different products to estimate return on investment (ROI), optimise media budget allocation, and create scenario projections.
Assist in the development of ML measurement and experimentation strategies, predictive models, and segmentation techniques.
Implement sophisticated attribution techniques such as Markov chain, game theory, or other statistical methods of allocation.
About You
Degree in relevant areas such as IT, Maths, Statistics, Econometrics or a related STEM discipline.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing analytics or attribution modelling/statistical analysis with relevant experience in translating data and creating hypotheses and actionable insights.
Minimum 5 years' experience in SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI; ML programming highly desirable .
Strong expertise in regression/attribution/statistical modelling, machine learning, data mining, and data visualization tools and techniques .
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
