We are seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne. As the Chef's right hand, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food production for hotel outlets.

Main Responsibilities:

* Kitchen Operations: Ensure seamless food production throughout all meal periods, including meetings, events, and team member meals.
">
* Team Management: Train the team and uphold food safety practices across the kitchen brigade.
">
* Inventory Management: Order and hold team members accountable for stock rotation.
">
* Menu Development: Assist the Head Chef with menu development.
">
* Food Preparation: Complete daily food orders when required, whilst maximising the use of ingredients to minimise waste.
">
* Maintenance: Regularly check that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
">
* Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen team members meet all hotel, hygiene, and Work Health and Safety requirements.
">
* Guest Relations: Develop a positive relationship with guests, team members, and contractors.
">

Requirements:
">

* Experience: A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
">
* Qualification: A current, valid, and relevant trade commercial cookery qualification.
">
* Skills: Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills.
">
* Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment and ability to train staff in its use.
">
* Certification: A current, valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate for Hospitality.
