The Program
Social connections are crucial for health, especially as we age. The Red Cross provides various aged and community care programs to support people during this time.
Our volunteers offer transport, visiting, meals, and welfare calls to help clients maintain their independence and stay in their own homes longer.
The Opportunity
As a Regional Engagement Volunteer, you will engage with other volunteers and community members at face-to-face and online events. You will provide information from and to the Red Cross to support our volunteers and their impact in the community.
All volunteers need to complete a National Criminal Check. We ensure you receive training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within the world's largest humanitarian network.

You will contribute to improving social connections and quality of life for vulnerable people by providing a positive and respectful service as a Regional Engagement volunteer.
In return, you will meet diverse people and feel the satisfaction of giving back to your community.
