We have an awesome and dedicated Front of house and back of house crew and we are looking for someone to come and be a part of our creative team that is looking to continue to make Opus the best it can be.
We also have a Sando / Pizza Shop opening the end of November called Halfday Deli in Wollongong. We are also looking for a Venue Manager for this site which you can apply for here.

You must have experience in a similar environment. High flow cafe environment 33k-38k weeks are the normal.

2. Time management - You use forethought in everyday life, you will be responsible for delegating tasks/jobs to the appropriate team members to perform.
3. Creativity - Drink specials development, you'll be working with our head barista and head chef to create beverages utilising current ingredients from the seasonal menu.
4. Excellent communication skills - You've got fantastic communication skills, both orally and written - great with an email and you value communication with your peers.
5. Active listening and learning - understanding what people need, asking questions for insight into problems and gathering information for a solution are essential when coordinating a team - we expect this from anyone leading.
6. Teaching abilities - You will be expected to train current staff, along with new additions in doing things the correct way, we want influence, fun, routine and creativity!
7. Analysis and evaluation - Improvement, teaching, development - finding the most efficient way to get tasks done gets you excited! You are passionate about this.
8. Own computer & Computer Skills - you'll need to keep in touch with suppliers, the executive chef, executive manager etc. via email and a designated group chat. You work or have worked with excel before.
9. Wage targets and scheduling - You’ll need to keep to wage cost targets. Experience with our rostering software Deputy is a bonus. Utilising insights and projections on sales and rostering accordingly.
10. If you confidently design costing spreadsheets for fun, this is a huge bonus that will be looked upon very favourably!
11. Knowing the way of espresso - You'll be a part of the process. Understanding the basics is essential as you will be working with our head barista to ensure every cup is perfection.
