ABOUT THE POSITION.
This role presents an ideal opportunity for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor seeking to make an impact on a variety of projects while working within a close-knit, high-achieving team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading key cost management functions and offering advisory expertise throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will engage closely with project teams, delivering accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and providing strategic advice on value engineering and risk mitigation. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining robust client relationships and driving innovative, customised solutions to achieve project objectives.
DUTIES.
* Deliver Precise Cost Advice & Estimates
* Conduct Trade Take-Offs & BOQ Pricing
* Oversee Variations & Site Valuations
* Implement Value Management & Cost Optimisation Strategies
* Participate in Design Meetings & Liaise with Clients
* Prepare Cost Reports & Perform Financial Reconciliation
* Conduct Feasibility Studies & Assess Project Viability
* Utilise Industry Software such as MS Office and Cost X
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
* Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS, CIOB)
* A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
* Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying principles and practices
* Solid understanding of construction methodologies and industry advancements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
