Directly engaged in the operations of the business, the role is accountable for enhancing the reputation and image of Evolve FM through exemplary customer interaction and service delivery.Major Responsibilities:Ensuring service delivery meets and ideally exceeds client expectations and established service levels and/or other defined benchmarksCompletion of internal month end financial reporting processes for designated Evolve FM clientsWork with Senior Finance Director to deliver annual budgetary and forecast program for designated Evolve FM clientsAssist with Senior Finance Director to manage audit program requirementsModel Evolve FM's values, mission and visionAssist Account Management with inputs to manage client relationships and promote Evolve FM service delivery.Provide data input to Account Managers to meet organisational performance report requirements.Process improvement, problem solving and analysis within areas of accountability towards continuous improvement and best practice.Management accountabilities and high performance of teamDelivering accountabilities assigned within the annual operational plan for area of responsibility.Ensure adherence to prescribed quality standards and internal controls within the finance function across the Evolve FM business to manage risk for both clients and ‘the firm’Completing the performance and development review for direct reports; along with the annual talent management process for direct reportsComplete Variance ReportingComplete Accrual processAssist with Contract Reports and other ad hoc reports as requiredFunds requests are sent to the client according to month end calendarJournals to be done to correct GL Code ChangesSuggested actions including timing discussed and agreed with direct and matrix managersProposed changes agreed with direct and matrix managersAttend client meetings and take minutes if required.Ideally, the successful candidate will also possess:Proven experience in management/specialist role with a fast paced and complex environment.Knowledge of work health and safety requirementsTrack record of excellent stakeholder engagement, with a strong client focus, and dealing with people with different skill sets and responsibilities.Highly developed problem solving, process improvement, analytical, communication and customer service skillsExperience contributing to a culture of inclusion and high performanceSound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity & complex problemsDemonstrate ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basisAble to think strategically, innovatively and solve problemsVery good Excel, analytical and reporting skills (including commentary)Proactive generation of ideas related to efficiency & effectiveness of month end processingBe willing to “put up your hand” to assist other team members with finance related mattersAbility to work independently under limited direction with tight timeframes and competing priorities.Please see www.evolvefm.com.au for more information about what we do.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a finance manager?Do you have experience completing ad hoc and month end reporting?How many years of accounting experience do you have?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
