Role details The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit at the Sarina Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse (Potentially Preventable Hospitalisations) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides nursing services within the health service settings and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature, but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. The CN provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care, and offers leadership and support to other nursing staff. About the Team The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit is an essential element of the MHHS support services and ensures the development and delivery of culturally appropriate services and models of health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
