We are partnered with a local government in Emerald to recruit a Safety Mentor.Your new roleIn this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:The primary focus will be procedure/SOP/SWMS reviews.Promoting safety and ensuring that safety protocols are understood and followed.Train and educate employees about safety practices, procedures, and regulations.Ensure safety standards are met and followed within the organisation.Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.Offer guidance and support to employees regarding safety concerns and issues.Composing and presenting reports and correspondence.Incident investigations involving internal and external parties.What you'll need to succeedMinimum C Class provisional licence,Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or related discipline,Demonstrated experience working in a complex high-risk workplace implementing safety processes and initiatives which have improved safety performance;Demonstrated experience in incident investigations (eg.
