Experience it here.Interstate and international travel may be required.About you: Essential Previously held Category C Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI)/Operational Flying Instructor (OFI)/Fighter Combat Instructor (FCI) (or ADF recognised equivalent). Completed an ADF Flying Instructor Course or a recognised equivalent course. Must be able to continue to satisfy the requirements for ADF Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) Category C (minimum) Qualification per applicable Defence Orders, Instructions, and Publications (OIP) including Air Command SI (OPS) 2-1 / Air Academy SI (OPS) 2-1 Aircrew Training, Qualifications and Crewing, and DASR Australian Air Publication 8000.011 Defence Aircrew Qualifications and Training (AMC AIRCREW 10.A (7) Air Instructor Training and Standards). Extensive knowledge in pilot training design and training device(s) operating skill. Must meet medical criteria in: PC-21 Pilot anthropometric criteria. ADF high performance (ejection seat) pilot medical. The SIMIP Learning Management Package (LMP) includes flying events in the aircraft to assist with understanding the differences between the Flying Training Device (FTD) and the aircraft. Subject to Commonwealth approval, candidates unable to obtain medical clearance to fly may continue with the LMP events and are exempt from aircraft currency items described in AirA SI (OPS) 2-1 Aircrew Training, Qualifications and Crewing. Desirable Greater than 1000 hours total QFI/OFI/FCI experience / 500 hours turbo-prop tandem-seat trainer aircraft QFI experience. Apply PC-21 and Military Pilot SME knowledge and advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts to solutions, practice and training. Provide student assistance, questions and missions when not scheduled for formal academic instruction, aircrew training device instruction, or courseware development and revisions. Conduct quality aircrew training instruction to deliver prescribed training objectives and mission guide requirements.
