Northern Sydney Local Health District Analytics and Performance Unit offers flexible working arrangements including working from home.What You'll Be DoingThe Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Analyst provides a pivotal role to the advancement of performance reporting across Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), Reporting to the Principal Systems Analyst, and working collaboratively with all members of the Analytics & Performance Unit the position is accountable for the planning and execution of projects from design phase through to post implementation evaluation.The Business Intelligence Developer/ Analysis is responsible for creating data models, reports, and dashboards that provide insights into key business operations. This role focuses on delivering valuable data products by transforming data into visually compelling and actionable reports. The BI Developer will collaborate with business users to understand their data needs, create efficient reporting systems, and ensure data quality and security across platforms.Knowledge of HIE and EDW data sets is desirable. The BI Developer / Analyst is accountable for the provision of high level and strategic advice and analyses and the achievement of work priorities. The position holder is expected to operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership and sound judgment in managing allocated portfolios.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Management or Health Administration and/or extensive experience in performance reporting and Business Intelligence tool development within a large organisation. Outline the relevant skills and experience you have that would make you the most suitable person for this role. Describe your BI developer experience including your experience in design and development using Power BI and/or other platforms such as Qlikview or Qliksense.
