About the Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced cleaner to join our Domestic Assistance Team.
The role is classified at Home Care-Aged Care Level 1 to Level 2 (depending on experience) of the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 (SCHADS) with the benefit of salary sacrifice options.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide domestic cleaning services to consumers in line with consumers’ personal care plans which includes household cleaning along with any larger one-off cleaning tasks e.g. spring clean out
* Deliver services within allocated timeframes according to the daily schedule and liaise with the Domestic Assistance Coordinator for scheduling changes, cancellations or disruptions
* Maintain professional and appropriate relationship with consumers, employees and the general public at all times ensuring the confidentiality of organisational, employee and consumer information
* Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation for daily and weekly tasks
* Follow established procedures for reporting feedback (compliments and complaints)
About You
* Ability to work autonomously, efficiently and safely within a team environment
* Good knowledge of the Devonport, Latrobe, Kentish, and Central Coast municipalities
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Previous cleaning experience working with aged people and younger persons with a disability is an advantage
* Appropriate level of physical fitness
* Must be an Australian Resident or hold an Australian Working Visa
All MCCA employees must:
* Hold a current driver’s licence
* Have a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card - NDIS endorsed (or be willing to obtain)
* Have a current National Police Check (or be willing to obtain)
