LECTURER IN ROOF SLATING & TILING Salary: £38,345 to £40,595 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Qualifications Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Roofing? Super organised and take pride in your work? This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. This involves the government paying successful candidates from an industry background to get into teaching. Our College will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher. We are looking for a qualified trade professional willing to share their knowledge and skills with young people and adults. This is a teaching role which involves workshops and classroom learning; your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential. You should have relevant and recent industry experience, an NVQ Level 3 in Roofing, and the ability to demonstrate skills and understand the needs of learners in a training environment. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential; the ability to communicate effectively is essential together with excellent knowledge of health & safety issues.
