You will also perform spirometry assessments and facilitate group pulmonary rehabilitation twice a week. In addition, you will provide education and support to clients referred for home oxygen therapy. Training will be provided in areas such as clinical assessments, documentation, spirometry, and the coordination of the pulmonary rehabilitation program. You will also be responsible for educating clients on various respiratory issues. Orientation and mentorship will be offered to help you transition into the respiratory role, with support from the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), nursing colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, you will have access to online training resources from the Lung Foundation and the National Asthma Council. Requirements: Our successful candidate will possess the following: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Previous experience in respiratory nursing (desired but no essential) with completion of Lung Foundation eLearning course: Pulmonary Rehabilitation Training or willingness to work towards Proven computer literacy and proficiency in computer applications Current NSW drivers’ licence and willingness to travel for work purposes. Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme: This vacancy may be eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following: Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 for the first 12-months Retention incentive of up to $10,000 thereafter annually All payments and reimbursements made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis. Attraction incentives will be paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance on top of your base salary 11.5% superannuation.
