Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join their Art Gallery team as Casual Art Gallery Assistants.
About the Role
We are looking for professional and friendly staff to join our Art Gallery team in various key responsibilities, including Front of House, Invigilation, Public Programs, and Events.
* Assist in the daily operation of the Gallery, providing customer service duties always ensuring a highly presentable and welcoming reception.
* Provide a courteous and effective service to the visiting public, including information about exhibitions and public programs, and addressing enquiries.
* Provide invigilation for the Gallery, including exhibitions, weekends, and some out-of-hours duties for events and public programs.
* Perform administrative duties associated with the role.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Qualifications and experience relevant to the role in the following sectors: Arts, Gallery or Museum, Customer Service, and retail.
* A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification, or be willing to obtain one.
* Experience in retail sales and familiarity using MYOB, which is highly desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
* To be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
