Role Overview
Join Uniting AgeWell as a Home Care Worker, where a relevant qualification is essential to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. This part-time role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, with shifts spread across Monday to Friday during daytime hours. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clients with Personal Care, Domestic Assistance, Social Support, and Transport.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Travelling between clients’ homes
* Providing personal care, including assistance with showering, grooming, and mobility
* Assisting with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores
* Monitoring clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, and reporting any concerns
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive environment for clients
* Respecting clients’ rights, choices and upholding their cultural and spiritual needs
* Delivering friendly, professional service to clients and their families
About You
You are passionate about making a positive difference in clients’ lives and supporting them to live independently at home. Successful candidates must have:
* Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or higher (such as a Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing in progress)
* Driver’s License: Valid Victorian license and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* First Aid & CPR: Current certifications or willingness to obtain
* Commitment to Person-Centred Care: Strong knowledge of community care and dedication to high standards for clients and families
* Team Player: Thrives in a team environment while valuing one-on-one client connections

Mandatory Requirements:
* Working With Children Check (Employee)
