A leading tier two rail and civil infrastructure contractor is seeking a Project Manager to deliver a $40 million project in regional NSW (Goulburn/Moss Vale area).
The project involves the construction of 8 x crossovers and associated signalling infrastructure, track reconditioning, drainage/civil works. Works are possession based, generally with major signalling works mid-week. The possessions take place on weekends.
The project manager must have solid knowledge and experience in the following:
Understanding of track/signalling interfaces Understanding of safeworking network rules, with the ability to coordinate works to ensure that scope is completed with a focus on ARTC safeworking Ability to work remotely at Moss Vale and Goulburn (DIDO) or relocate for the duration of the project Management of a team of engineers/supervisors and coordination of subcontractor packages for signalling and track construction Previous ARTC experience is required Ability to travel/LAHA for projects or be based in Wollongong/South West Sydney Management of commercial aspects, preparation of variations, notices, etc. Following the contract and understanding the track/signalling scope of works Conforming and working with a high-performing team fully committed to the project This role would suit an SPE looking for the next step up into project management, with the opportunity to manage their own project with the support of a Senior Project Manager. The salary is in the region of $180,000-$200,000 plus super and vehicle. Accommodation will be provided if living away from home and driving in and out.
