Job Description
* Support month-end activities, including accruals, re-allocation, entries, review, reporting, and reconciliation.
* Deliver monthly cost reviews with various business leaders.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for multiple business units.
* Assist with annual budget and periodic forecasting.
* Prepare BAS, FBT, and other tax requirements.
* Assist with audit, including liaising with external auditors.
* In conjunction with the Finance Manager, develop, roll-out, and maintain appropriate financial policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with required taxation, regulatory, and accounting standards.
* Involvement in process improvement and technology implementation.
The Successful Applicant
* We are seeking strong accounting professionals looking to fast-track their careers within a high-growth, ASX-listed business.
* This role will suit someone who is CA/CPA qualified or partly-qualified, looking to commence their CA/CPA.
* Requirements include:
o A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.
o A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
o Experience within the mining/manufacturing/construction industries is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
o Natural problem-solving skills with strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Strong Excel skills.
o Experience with Pronto/Power BI is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
