Full time fixed term until the 16th of January 2026 Provide operational support to key initiatives aimed at enhancing student life Base Salary $99,455 - $107,216 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Senior Administration Officer supporting the Office of Student Life, you will play a key role in driving seamless operations and impactful initiatives that enhance the student experience. From managing diaries and meetings to preparing documents, maintaining records, and coordinating projects, you’ll keep things running smoothly while being the first point of contact for the office. Your strong organizational skills and problem-solving mindset will help coordinate daily operations, address student-related matters, and deliver effective solutions that support the Office of Student Life’s mission. Your key responsibilities will be to: work in a cohesive and collaborative team environment reporting into the Head of Student Life deliver administrative and operational support by managing daily activities, resolving issues, responding to inquiries, building professional relationships, and improving processes oversee records management and financial processes by maintaining databases, preparing reports, handling payments and invoices, and ensuring compliance with University policies coordinate meetings, events, and logistics, including managing diaries, supporting governance forums, and contributing to event preparation and delivery support Student Life initiatives by guiding students to services, assisting with materials and projects, and ensuring compliance with policies and audit requirements. About you tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience proven experience providing high-level administrative support in a tertiary education organisation demonstrated secretariat skills, with experience managing diaries, coordinating meetings, minute taking, creating action registers, and following up with stakeholders on actions working knowledge of software programs such as Concur, UniBuy, Records Management, and Content Management Systems, with project management software knowledge highly regarded financial literacy with experience managing invoicing and payments, as well as preparing financial reports demonstrated project coordination and implementation skills high-level stakeholder engagement skills across a variety of stakeholders, including students and senior executives the ability to take initiative with a problem-solving mindset.
