Position Information Orange High School has proudly provided high quality learning experiences to students in Central Western NSW for over 100 years. Today, we educate up to 1000 students, 12% of which are Aboriginal, from within the regional city of Orange and its rural surroundings on Wiradjuri country. Selection Criteria 1) Approval to teach Society and Culture and approval/willingness to teach Geography. 2) Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to work as a collaborative member of the HSIE faculty. 3) Demonstrated capacity to provide engaging lessons and programs for all students, including those with additional or diverse learning needs. 4) Demonstrated commitment to the cultural and educational needs of Aboriginal students Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
