Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Launceston quarry team as a Leading Hand. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be a multi-faceted position, responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement. The ideal candidate will preferably have mobile and fixed plant experience, with a background in mining, mineral sands, crushing hard rock, or any flotation process highly regarded. Front End Loader experience and the ability to use Loadrite will be highly advantageous.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with average rostered hours being 6am – 4pm, as well as rostered Saturday shifts, 6am – 12pm midday.
