The Opportunity
Veolia has an exciting opportunity for a Project Site Engineer in our Industrial and Energy space within the Remediation Services team. Working in a close-knit and motivated team, you will contribute to delivering on site remediation projects, including soil, water, waste, and civil at client sites across Victoria.

What you'll be responsible for
* Manage a broad scope of remediation projects including soil remediation, water treatment, waste management and civil works.
* Oversee and coordinate daily operations at customer sites.
* Prepare health, safety and environmental documentation and provide project reporting.
* Manage project resources requirements including labour, equipment, trades and logistics.
* Undertake field-based activities including soil and water sampling.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, legislative, and Veolia corporate obligations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
* Accurate completion of paperwork.
* Drive the Veolia Always Safe Culture.
What you'll need to be successful
* 2+ years demonstrated experience in a site based or similar role in the industry.
* Demonstrated experience in site operations and logistics management.
* Practical experience in SHEQ Management systems including contractor management in field-based or industrial environments.
* Experience in soil remediation, civil, environmental or water projects.
* A working knowledge of EPA, Worksafe, Dangerous Goods, and other regulatory bodies and requirements (desired).
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
* Be able to commit to regional and interstate travel, and work away from home.
* Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
