The Position
We are looking for a Permanent Part-Time (0.5) Staff Specialist in Psychiatry to join an exciting and innovative new virtual mental health service in New South Wales.
The role will involve the use of cutting-edge telehealth technology in providing timely access to individualised and holistic assessment and care by expert multidisciplinary clinicians across a geographically dispersed LHD. You will have the opportunity to lead teams, virtually serving consumers in the community and across emergency departments in the local area. There will also be a requirement to manage inpatients within the service. While the Virtual Consultation Hub & Virtual Community Centre will be mainly based separately, it would be expected that the psychiatrist spends sufficient time at the local Emergency Departments to facilitate liaison and registrar supervision.
