We have a permanent opportunity available as a Product Analyst – Major Accounts, working within our Group Life – Product and Pricing team.This role supports the product portfolio management and development for Industry Fund partners, supporting the product lifecycle, using analytical and problem-solving skills and commercial judgment to support the TAL Group Life business to acquire new mandates, install new schemes, maintain market-competitive products, and retain and grow valuable existing partnerships.In this role you will:Understand the dynamics of Industry Funds in particular, TAL’s Major Account portfolioSupport active product management plans/strategies that are in place for a product portfolio to ensure profitabilitySupport the development and maintenance of up-to-date product documentation for Group Life and Group Salary Continuance including for proposals, policy documents, service level agreements and other required disclosure materialSupport policy drafting, signoff and executionKnow and track client portfolio rankings based on available research databasesTrack and report on Product approved exceptions/concessions for the client portfolioProvide support and analysis for projects and opportunities as required by the Head of ProductSupport the creation of marketing/technical materialQualificationsTertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business, or a related disciplineKnowledge of the life insurance Industry, with experience in interpreting, reviewing, and devising detailed terms and conditions plus an understanding of pricing methodologiesOutstanding analytical skills and methodologiesExcellent time management, organisational, and presentation skillsKnowledge of compliance and other legislative requirementsExcellent attention to detailProduct analysis and new opportunity assessment experience within the financial services industrySkilled at writing technical documentation with in-depth knowledge of MS Office suiteClient relationship, negotiation, and influencing skills, desiredYou’re always accountable for your actions.
