About The Role The Business Development Manager will be primarily focused on driving the new business development process for the Diversey across Australia. The expectation is that the Business Development Manager will spend their time on new business acquisitions and working with existing key accounts to drive growth and keep track of evolving market trends and customer requirements. This position is located in New South Wales. RESPONSIBILITIES: Creation and implementation of new business development plans for and not limited to the Healthcare, Retail, BSC, Food Service and Hospitality sector. Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise and market intelligence. Take the lead initiative in developing a first-class rapport with identified key customers/customer groups in the distribution markets. Through regular key customer contact in Australia, evaluate the current and emerging customer needs and assess the effectiveness of the current Diversey AU business to develop and meet AOP targets. Continually evaluate key competitor activities, analyse effectiveness, and prepare defensive strategic ploys. Develop business relationship with key decision makers to further our business interests. Lead the creation and management of tender presentations and documentation, involving key stakeholders as required. Lead the implementation with the team w.r.t customer training & education training programs. Plan daily, weekly, and annual objectives and activities to maximise customer contact and effectiveness. Continuously update all sales activities (e.g. funnel) using Salesforce or other CRM systems. Provide monthly updates to the direct manager on: Tracking against KPIs Plans for the coming month and quarter Performance against previous plan Manage effective internal stakeholder relationships and ability to deliver the Diversey AU Sector strategy through matrix reporting structure. Work closely with Engineering and Application Specialists to identify and develop relevant value propositions for customers. About you The ideal candidate will hold the following: Demonstrated Business development with 5 years’ experience. Demonstrated accountability and ability to interpret financial data, budgets and manage a P&L Possess highly developed presentation skills with the ability to sell a total package of services and products. Possess sound business acumen and desire to achieve. Demonstrated ability to win large corporate accounts. Demonstrated proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships. Able to demonstrate high level of decision-making skills, strategic level planning and analytical skills Able to demonstrate self-management skills. High level of communication and presentation skills Be a team player, putting the team's objectives first before personal rewards. Display clear goal setting and goal achievement skills and disciplines. Maintains a positive mental attitude and uses enthusiasm and builds long term relationships which foster repeat business. Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce. Advanced Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. Able to travel for short periods of time in Australia and or overseas.
