The school currently caters for approximately 750 students from Prep to Year 6 who not only engage in the learning expectations of the Australian Curriculum but are also offered an extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities.About the RoleAs the Administrative Officer (AAEP) you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. You will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine. The Administrative Officer (AAEP) reports to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate.You will perform a variety of administrative and support services as required in a fast paced and dynamic school office. These services include but are not limited to:Customer Service and reception duties, attending to telephone, front counter sorting and distributing mail, email and general office duties required of a school office.Administration of first aid to students and staff, including the management of student medical action plans and medication requirements.Roll marking, issuing leave, late notes, scheduling excursion rolls and variation to school roll marking.Assist with the collation and processing of student enrolments when required, student departures and maintaining student details.Maintain school calendar and messages on electronic school sign in conjunction with leadership team and staff.Collate, produce and publish school newsletter.Assist the Leadership Team with the coordination of special events including school photos, awards nights, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Leadership ceremonies.Assist the BM with facilities hire, the sign in/out of contractors, including the issue of WAAP's and keys.Finance duties include; data entry of supplier invoices and corporate cards.Aside from being a highly organised team player, this position requires a candidate who can demonstrate:Excellent telephone manner, strong written communication skills and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Good time management skills, and the ability multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and under pressure.A positive and professional work ethic.Interested?
