This position is being offered in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane on an ongoing basis.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Director Infrastructure, Ops & Cybersecurity, the Head of Programs - Infrastructure, Ops & Cyber Security plays a critical role in delivering ICT projects for AMSA. This role is responsible for the execution of the service delivery component of the program in accordance with contractual requirements, EPMO standards, and ICT service delivery best practices. This role will be required to:Manage a small team of delivery-focused resources.Guide the release process operated by outsourced partners.Coordinate the delivery of all ICT capabilities within AMSA projects.Assist with planning ICT projects.Coordinate and assign delivery resources including those from our insourced provider ASG.Coordinate the delivery of software life cycle changes.Source technical specialist resources as required to meet the demands of project delivery.As the Head of Programs - Infrastructure, Operations and Cyber Security, you will be responsible for:Manage the analysis, design, testing, and delivery of information technology solutions.Coordinate the implementation of information systems change to minimize adverse impact on users and business service quality.Assist in the management of the IS applications service delivery functions, including development methods, processes and standards, capability and resource management, quality assurance, solution design and estimation, and architecture.Interpret business requirements and identify appropriate technical solutions. Identify business improvement opportunities through the strategic application of information technology solutions.Assist the Director in the strategic planning and provision of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services to AMSA staff and customers.Coordinate and manage ICT project planning activity with the EPMO, including start-up meetings, cost estimation, and resource planning.Coordinate and manage a team of ICT delivery staff.
