We are looking for an ASO 5 Level Senior Client Engagement Officer to start ASAP.
About the Role: In this dynamic role, you will:
* Engage and build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
* Respond to client and sector enquiries daily, offering timely and informed advice.
* Assess applications for housing assistance, following trauma-informed service principles.
* Match resources to client needs and manage various IT systems.
* Represent the team at forums, advocate for complex clients, and build strong internal and external relationships.
* Apply legislation and policy within the human services sector.
* Maintain records, prepare documentation, and contribute to team initiatives.
* Support the ACT Government's Respect, Equity, and Diversity Framework and ensure safe work practices.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Experience working with vulnerable clients, preferably in the community sector.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to manage multiple IT systems and follow compliance protocols.
* Knowledge of client and trauma-informed practices.
* Skills in advocacy and relationship-building across various sectors.
* An understanding of human services legislation and policy.
